not much reads (rush ftw) , he donked flop and turn last time I raised my button and I folded. he is not too far away from unknown.

cbet flop?

I call turn since I have some equity and can bluff clubs. I guess river valueshove is standard.

Hi,

Not very experienced, but personally I would have cbet, if only to make the club bluff look more realistic.

Cheers

i like Cbet

i dont really like call on turn with your hand vs unknown

i dont like shove on river too i cant imagine what worse hands will call your shove there, maybe kq

looks nh , think you played hand v good

as for river , to raise will end up all-in if he has the flush but cant see why to flat call river & think would shove as well

I would cbet to get him to fold p/p and low suited connectors which he can bluff on subsequent streets. I dont like calling turn b/c the flush is out there so even if u hit u r not 100% sure if u r good. Rivershove for value is standard.
The Rebuz: worse hands that will call: KQ,109, QJ,KJ,sets. Basically i dont see any 2 pair+ hands folding b/c this a MTT.

i agree that all those hands might call most of the time,BUT i dont think decend villain (who is chip leader on FT (2xavg stack) vs HERO who is #2 stack) will have QJ/KJ/T9 there and play it that way (check flop - bet 1/2 pot turn -bet 1/3 pot on river and call shove),

any way......

only sets imo are 77, 44 (cos i expect him to 3 bet with jj+) and only KJ/QJ hand that is betting turn and bet calling river is Q/K :club:J BUT I REALLY DONT THINK THAT VILLAIN WILL BET TURN AND BET CALL RIVER WITH KQ/T9/QJ

and I woudnt ever play t9 like that + hero says that last two times villain donk flop vs him and hero folds

cos hero dont have A :club: or T :club: and nether K/Q :club: r there on board makes more possible that villain has flush his losse bet calling range on river imo is

Board: Qs Jc 4c 7c Kh
Dead:

Equity Win Tie Loss Hand
Player 1: 55,882 % 44,118 % 23,529 % 32,353 % 77, 44, ATs, Ac9c, Ac8c, Ac6c, Ac5c, Ac3c, Ac2c, KcQc, KcTc, Kc9c, QcTc, Qc9c, Tc9c, Tc8c, 9c8c, ATo, KcQs, KcQh, KcQd, KcJs, KcJh, KcJd
Player 2: 44,118 % 32,353 % 23,529 % 44,118 % AhTd

and hero is never ahead vs that range if we tighten up a litte that range
i'll never bet turn, bet call on river with KJ, KQ, 77, 44, QJ, 9t i check call river with all of them for bluff induce and pot control and some times i check shove all of them as bluff + I check shove flushes and AT 30-40% of time

Board: Qs Jc 4c 7c Kh
Dead:

Equity Win Tie Loss Hand
Player 1: 82,609 % 65,217 % 34,783 % 0,000 % ATs, Ac9c, Ac8c, Ac6c, Ac5c, Ac3c, Ac2c, KcQc, KcTc, Kc9c, QcTc, Qc9c, Tc9c, Tc8c, 9c8c, ATo
Player 2: 17,391 % 0,000 % 34,783 % 65,217 % AhTd

i really dont see value in shoving on river :f_confused:

i dont like calling turn bet
and i really dont like that hero didnt C bet on flop

i think hero played every street worse then previous one

I think you need to discount hands like K♣Q♣ since they should be an easy reshove preflop. but I see your point and I wasn't sure (I'm still not sure) if it's ok or not to shove , I did take the timebank before shoving.

I don't agree about cbetting flop , the only better hands he is folding are 55-77 (88-99 if he doesn't re shovepre )and I'm getting shoved out of my hand by a ton of pair+gutshot or better that connects this board.

spoiler alert , copy paste on notepad :f_biggrin:

about C beting
i agree about that he might shove draws + pairs but u r not ahead vs any of those hands
only draws that he'll shove there are flush draws imo if he dont have Ac or Tc he is way ahead

with Cbeting u r taking control and initiative over the hand u can check turn behind for pot control and free card or bluff some turns etc

about ur turn play what is ur plan for river?
what :club: r u blufing, all of them?? shoving if he bets on river or betting if he checks
plan if A hits, call i guess

if u r in villains place what kinda of range r u taking villains line -> check flop, bet turn, bet river (with intention to call AI)

-> villain plays his hand terrible maybe he hopes cos u tank that u have AcKx/AxKc but i dont think so that u do that with AK on river imo that AT shove was ur BTN shoving range imo, or not? _confused:

about C beting i agree about that he might shove draws + pairs but u r not ahead vs any of those hands

right, if I was ahead against those hands I'd get it in since I'm not, I don't want to bet and have to fold a lot of the time.

about ur turn play what is ur plan for river? what r u blufing, all of them?? shoving if he bets on river or betting if he checks plan if A hits, call i guess

river is a club and he checks I bet, if he bets <half pot I close my eyes and ship it.

if u r in villains place what kinda of range r u taking villains line -> check flop, bet turn, bet river (with intention to call AI)

nothing, If I'm villian I'm 3betting that stupid fish on the BTN with a ton of hands.

-> yes AT is the worst I'm shoving for value against him, I'm not turning AK into a bluff. he played this hand even worse than me probably

-> i mean u never have bluff here when u shove river OR DO U???, imo u will/should never play sets, KQ,KJ,QJ like that in first place -> which leads imo that when u shove on that river u always have flush, 9T, AT

in villains place ur line looks in mine eyes as 9t or flush

#2

u should bet he flop to let him fold mayn hands
after contibet, u can checkbehind the turn
its the better way to river

i think the turn call is very close ... against most player I prefer to fold
u have maybe 7 outs and I see no SD-value with A high on this board

lars, what do u think about river shove?

its close

but its unknown and we dont know hes callings many weaker hands
if I not sure to get value with a raise/push ... then i prefer to just call its

overall its a mtt, so we play for preservation of chips ... and need more equity on river to bet/raise

so i prefer to call the river

I dont think he has flush with this bet sizing on the river. So that why shove might be better cause random might call with any 2 pairs and T9.

On the flop cbet is better. I would check back some % if i had Ac.
If u call the turn, u have to be sure u can double up especially when u hit perfect.

this. if we get outlevelled into valuetowning ourselves so be it imo. fire up a new one.

i cbet flop also against unknown but if someone is truly passive enough then i don't hate taking a check behind flop, fold turn line

ok? my point is that we have the best hand far over 50% of the time (when compared to his valuebetting range, assuming he never bluffs for this sizing). so shoving is going to be best. and if he happens to have a flush and bet this size and then call, well then that's damn unlucky and we just have to take our losses and fire up a new tournament.

the reason i think that, btw, is because of villain's sizing
