Would be quite an achievement if a worse hand managed to call :f_p:

@amplifyd: I guess I'm in pretty much the same situation as you, I love MTTs but playing other stuff till I rebuild my roll to play midstakes

Yeah it sucks very hard - learning to beat cash is no bad thing for me though. Because at uni playing mtt schedule is hard to balance and cash is just better - but yea mtts are what i want to play most - planned to grind them all summer but all this stuff just got in the way. But for sure imo unless you can play midstake+ mtts I just don't like playing them.

Going on a real break now.

Went on holiday for like 7 days - came back today had an urge to played. I played and after like 1/2 hour I really had no concentration anymore. So yea I'm going to likely take like a break for 1-2 months more I guess. Maybe I will play some live and will probably try to make some $ through staking. With the (lots of) spare time I'm gnna have from not playing probably going to get fitter again and eat healthier again and also spend quite a bit of time reading and trying out ideas in trading/investing/business etc.

That's kind of sad to hear with your results but you know best what you need :)

Take care and good luck

Already I have begun to start to get a bankroll back together and play _love:

In short I had quite a lot of money saved away (from poker) so using this to roll myself for like $30ish mtts, mainly gnna play across euro sites and play worst of the worst. Probs play on stars on sundays, and sell some actionz.

But I have at least begun to eat healthier again, and started to do like 1-2h cardio everday, and weights every other day. Should be able to keep it up too cos I'm really motivated to get healthy and fitter again.

I really am ana lso gonna cut down on my session time and number of tables this time - gnna play like 6h sessions max 4/5 days a week (maybe a bit longer every now and again on a sunday) with 9 tables max and I'm also going to treat my poker a lot more like a job - but still am only gnna ever play when I feel like it. MTTs are deffo my strongest area of poker since I put most time into them, and its also the form of poker I enjoy the most so its defo what I am gna play.

Bought this mouse in preparation for the grind too :

Also picked my course choices for 2nd semester at uni. Taking stats, probability, intro to fin. maths, and a module on logic - should be fun.

Nice to see you back mate. Those module choices sound tough, i decided to take the lazy route and did a BA, not too much maths involved. :P

Did you post those two on the same day? nice.

I was wondering how long the cash games thing would last, I had a go after that stake we did too, lasted about 5 sessions. MTTs are where it's at.

Have you ever read this? Things it took me a while to learn It's a pretty light read you can just pick at when you cant be bothered grinding

I am looking for a new mouse for grinding, too. Are you satisfied with that mouse? I have read mixed opinions about it.

Yeah I like it tbh - I used to get cramps in my hand on my old mouse - don't with this one. I've had like 4 logitech mouses - 1 broke, 2 got thrown against walls and I've been happy with them all tbh.
