Commitment to succeed

No update for almost a week, cause I've been pretty busy most of the time. Cant decide wheter to update, I guess I'll try to keep up 2-3 updates a week.

Attended plenos coaching yesterday and it was more theoretical than last time but still very interesting. He showed whats the best way to make notes and how to use them more efficiently.

Poker wise finaly caught some rungood and finished the bonus so now Im not sure should I stay at bwin or move one. I'll try to make up my mind until the end of the month.

This week didnt start very well cause I was sick for the first few days feelinng quite bad so couldnt play. Now Im fine so back to studying and grinding. Also joined a study group, that could be quite usefull.
Dropped down to bronze as my SP's were not updated in january from playing in Bwin, turns out other people got their points, wierd.

My february goals:

[ ] Shoot Nl100 if conditions are ok
[ ] Attend puplic coachings regulary
[ ] Update my blog 2+ times a week
[ ] Develop 2 new habits
[ ] Keep up decent Play:study ratio

Also I will join a accountablily group so that might help not to slip away from these goals.

Already contacted PS support and got super fast response. They just needed my bwin account name, which I wasnt informed about, so I should get my points in the next 24h.

Got my points so now Im platin again. After the news about the bootcamp, reaching diamond is in my top priority list so I'll be playing as much as I can.

Last days running decently well and on sunday managed to win a small MTT for 800$. Will use some of this for private coachings. If things go well I should be able to shoot NL100 real soon.

Last few days wasnt able to play as much as I wanted, but thats fine, SP's are coming in nice pace so I think without getting lazy, Diamond is mine this month.

Im a bit sick at the moment, so probably wont use any alcahol this weekend. Instead gonna grind as much as I can so I get closer to NL100 shots.

Also getting some private coachings soon, looking forward to them and the bootcamp next month.

This week doing quite ok. Very satisfied with my time management. Running fairly ok, still making some silly mistakes from time to time but thats ok, just need to learn from them and try not to repeat.

BR wise I'm ready to shoot NL100, but will delay this a bit. Decided to upgrade my laptop to SSD drive, so everything runs more smoothly. Will do it next week, so after that is done I'll take a shot.

Haven done any private coachings yet, still looking forward to that.

Here's a lesson for me:
Do not 3bet and then barrel of against unknowns. Its ridicilous how I can talk myself into wierd stuff.

Villain after 15 hands was 17/15 or something. I automaticly assume his farly nitty, probably has some Kx, mostly KQ and bunch of PP's which he would fold. On the river I think he shouldnt have any Ax and even Kx is in a very tough spot except KhQh. After seeing what villain has Im quite pissed about myself.
My thought process should be villain unknown, play cautiosly until have some reads.

Thanks for writing down your thoughts by the way. Interesting and inspiring. I never really studied villains deeply. And as you wrote at the beginning it took a while like 3 hours for 5 different players. Did you manage to save some times then ?

Yeah the villain analysis got faster cause I could more quickly identify those leaks and write a plan how to exploit villains. Im a bit lazy here at the moment cause Im grindind more to get the diamond and get to the Bootcamp.

Also just got of my first private coaching. We review'd a video of my play. Coach show'd me some spots where I should open up my game, bluff a little more, and In general made me more confident about what Im doing.
Definitely doing another session soon.

I never analyse villains. I should though but I still don't know how to get the most of PT4. Too lazy I guess.

My coach is mbml.
I also dont use most of the features PT4 provides. I think u need a very big sample to have a need to filter out specific hands. I just open a bunch of villains hands in replayer and then go throu them and take notes.
Its not very interesting but I think its usefull.

Fun hand from this nights session

Villain plays 18/14 but 4bet bluffs way to much. We didnt have any crazy dynamics going on, he really tanked before he called, I guess he couldnt fold after 4betting so big. He actually needs 32% to call and against that sizing I am shoving wider as I have a read on his betsizing. He shouldnt know that thou. But at first seems ridicilous call, after looking bit deeper its not that bad.

Last week played as much as I wanted, I should reach diamond this week. Didnt study as much, but I think march will heavily compensate on the lack of studying this month. Im on a little downswing last few days so hopefuly things will turn around in the next few days so I can do my NL100 shoots.

Still on a downswing, getting 3-4 outered on the river and a little bit under EV. But despite of that I actually feel quite confident about my game. Im constantly doing some tweaks and playing some juicy tables so I think it only a matter of time, when this bad streak ends.
The saddest thing is Nl100 shots are a but further away. Anyways cant wait for the bootcamp .
