I agree that sample is to small and insufficient to make correct conclusion. Your post made me wonder so I look some video about preflop ranges, I watched mbml's video and that ranges from EP are similar like you mentioned. I believe that at higher limits I'll tighten up ranges but for now this looks fine, why fix something that ain't broken, right

Week 6 went great, still not satisfied with volume, played only 4300 hands, but this is good considering that 3 days I didn't play. I didn't want to play when I'm not focusing enough or feeling tired, missed Friday and Saturday play but maybe that was good thing ♠_biggrin:. I made biggest profit since start of this challenge, $55 profit is a great boost for upcoming days, hope I can retain this mood for a long time :f_thumbsup:. Play was ok, hit some board and I was able to stack off week players but I see some improvements in my game, mentally and physically. Multitabling going good, secondary monitor really helps, not only for playing but also for doing other things. Graphs and stats are below.

He srna10,
we are missing you for our BR challenge - are you on a late summer vacation? In the last reported week it looked good here, so why not trying to boost your luck by being active in the challenge?
Did you also see the range-cam, a video with participants of our challenge? Link: here

Hi SvenBe,
I've been a little busy these days, less playing and updating. I'm taking a week off, late summer vacation and hope to get back to old tracks.
Thanks for your reply,
Kind regards,

Still struggling with volume, only played 1.9k hands and made loss for the first time :f_ugly:. Hope that will find some time to play poker, re-read some articles and notes so I can back in good mood. At PS things are going well, bankroll is around $270 so I'm in crossroad what to do, should I continue to play regular tables or taking shots Zooming at NL10? There is still time for decision until I'm get to 30BI for NL10. AT 888 there are lots of ups and downs playing NL6, I'm still making profit but not so much as at NL4. Thera are less tables, sometimes are ultra tight, sometimes are ultra loose so need to configure right time to play. Below are graps, stats and some hands from this week.

Late update but nevertheless...
Week 11 was ok, finally played a decent volume and profit is in green. I'm satisfied with my play, got few coolers and bad beats but also I'm making less mistakes. These days, and past week, I'm concentrating on my play when I've got initiative or PFR, getting focus on postflop play. This week I've got back ZOOM-ing, so I'll play NL5 for a while and when bankroll allows me I'l go up and play NL10. Think it will be at the end of this week. AT 888 I'm still at NL6, got ups and downs and make profit. There are less tables so I've got have patient and build bankroll suited for NL10. Below are this week stats and graphs (monthly and weekly).

In week 12 I switch back to ZOOM, stake is NL5 and about 3k hands I'm around BE. I'm adjusting to the game from regular tables, although I've played this limit 2 months ago. But now I'm mentally prepared, at the moment and hope to detain that feeling. Players at ZOOM are more defensive than at regular tables, there are more 3bet and multiway pots so I need to find best lines for these situations. At 888 I hit major upswing at the end of the week, last 2 playing days I made profit around $35. I was hitting board like crazy, but also manage to stack off people, I suprised myself :sfishy:. I'm close to take a shot at NL10, maybe at ZOOM will be first shots but if I lady variance will good to me maybe soon will play at 888, also. I'll be taking 5BI shots but for now I'm sticking to NL5 and NL4/NL6. Below are stas and graphs for past week.

Week 13 was a losing week, in so many ways, volume was very low and end it up in red losing around $7, play was moderately (maybe B/C game). Also manage to have another BE at ZOOM so today decide to get back to regular tables. I'll leave ZOOM at this moment, maybe will play at some higher limits but for now I'll stick to regular tables. I'm almost to take a shot at NL10 so will do some learning from tables concentrating on a post-flop play. After big upswing at 888, I hit a somekind of downswing losing around BI at NL6. I hope it will come around, also close to play NL10 tables. That's it for now, new update will be soon and graphs/stats are below.

I didn't update almost 3 weeks so it's time to share some infos. This few past weeks were a little swingy, hit big downswing and loose around $50 or about 10 BI's for NL6. Past few days I manage to pull out some positive results and hope I'll get my money back. At Pokerstars I'm taking shots @NL10, cut playing tables and now play only 3 tables and feel comfortably. Start wasn't good, quickly lost 2 BI's in about 200 hands, but I'm still learning and adjusting my play. Players are more aggressive and defend more, there are more 3bets pots and 4bet lightly. Every $50 milestone will adding 1 table but for now I'm satisfied with my play. Below are graphs and stats for past weeks and october.

Somekind of music intermezzo, just heard it on radio and recalled past partying days
Week 17 wasn't so good but I'm satisfied with my play, especially at 888. At Pokerstars I moved up to NL10, till today I've played about 4.5k hands playing only 3 tables. I need to stick to my ranges and trying to play ABC poker. At 888 was a good week making around 6BI profit and recover my losses from previous losing weeks. I hope I'll be playing NL10 soon, there aren't lot of NL6 tables so need to be patient and make bigger BR.
Week 18 was worst than previous week, at Pokerstars manage to get BE while at 888 lost almost everything from week 17. Majority of losses comes from losing against fish who stack me 4x, 3 times he hit two pair, or flush at river. Luckily it was only NL4 :f_biggrin:.
I'll try to be much active in these blog, I'll try to post some of hands and make analysis, so feel free to comment. Also when I have some tough situations or spots, I'll post in hand discussion thread. Another monthly goal will be to play at least 12k hands or 3k weekly. Below are list of goals, graphs and stats for past week.
Goals:
post hands and analysis
play at least 3k in week or 12k in month
read articles and work on postflop play
be patient and disciplined

Villain is unknown, played only 68 hands. So, after 3 call my 4bet I was ready to go broke on this flop.
But after played hand I was starting to think about his range. What could be his 4bet calling range? My calling range IP would be only KK, AA would be 5bet/shove and fold AK and QQ. So, in best case I was flipping, so I thought.
As played, bet on flop is legit, if he raise me on this dry flop could I go broke? I don't think so, with unknown range I would better fold than call. Turn is tricky spot for me, with less than ½ of pot I've decide to shove rest of my chips. If this was 3bet pot this wouldn't bother me, if he hit his set or draw let him be. But could I found fold button on turn, x/c on Turn or River is like putting all my chips so calling isn't option, it's fold or shove, right?
Like to hear your opinions.
- you would have needed to pay 4.65$ to win a total pot of 20.15$, does that sound fair, even if you are sometimes behind?
- he can do that with AQ,KQ, rarely with the one left combo of KK, but also of course with Aces.
- you are in a 4bet pot with an overpair - how much more do you need? If you are scared that villain has Aces too often, why did you 4bet him in the first place?
Hi SvenBe and thanks for feedback.
I recently started to play NL10 so I'm trying to get best lines, especially at 3bet/4bet pots. Also I'm trying to get familiar with calling/raising ranges in these pots. As played, think that lines were ok with some small changes that other members said in hand discussion thread, like 4bet bigger PF, smaller bet on flop and shove on turn.
I think I've got good equity against calling ranges that consits of QQ+, AKs which is 1.66%, and with KK I'm ready to go broke preflop. I've got pretty tight 4bet calling range and I don't know is it profitable to call 4bet with wider range (2%+), but I'm here to learn
hey srna,
I'm thinking about looking at this on hm2 as I feel I'm not sure in 3/4bet pots OOP and when to c-bet etc. I've just bought gold membership and have been reading a fair amount about it.
I think a lot of it would be dependant on opponent but probably not profitable at NL10.
What filters do you use when looking at hands as I've had hm2 for ages but only use about 3% of its potential?
Thanks and good luck, I'm sure someone will have a proper answer for you.

Hi stompy!
When I analyze hands I just look at biggest lost/won hands and look for possible leaks. When I've got decent sample at some limit then I look for positions stats (bb/100) and try to stop bleeding money from leaky postion. From time to time I also look at 3bet pots, possible 3bet spots. Like you I'm also newbie regarding HM2 and possibilities from this tool, but when you need something you learn how to get this. With gold status you can watch some video with tutorial, think that Bogdan is producer, so hope you'll find what you need. There are also bunch of video that can help improve your game.
Hope I helped you with some anwers and good luck at tables
Bankroll is growing at 888 although there were lots of upswing and downswing. I hope I'll soon have $300 so I can move to NL10, NL6 have few tables so I have to combine with NL4. At Pokerstars I've recently started to play NL10 and still adjusting to this level game. Players are more offensive, there are more x/r, and raises in general so I've been folding a lot. Maybe I've been explioted but I'll try to adjust for this aggression. I think that preflop play is fine, just need to adopt with some, for me, strange lines postflop. Also been busy lately but I hope to make some time so I can post hands because I find this very helpful and useful. Below are stats and graphs for past 2 weeks.
