Hello everyone!!

It's been a while since my last update but nothing change since then. I'm still strugling with volume and think this is big problem. When I play less, when I start to play after few days out of tables the first session is some kind of spew festival. Especially, if I can't hit board, then I become inpatient and want quickly to claim some BI, but it ends with mine losses. Also climbing up through microstakes with low volume sometime feels like Sisyphus job. But it push me to learn more and hope I will climb this ladder with success. I'm trying to analyze more my game so I started to record session and replay it next day, think this is good way to find leaks and plug it. Below are stats, graphs for 3 past weeks.

So year 2015 is over so before recaping last year a little info about previous weeks and month. I've been playing maybe 5-6 days in last 2 weeks, I had so many obligations so I didn't play like I wanted but I've spent quality time with family and enjoy in holidays. I've played around 5.7k hands, made some profit because of bonuses and rewards. On 888 is going very well, I'm satisfied with current situation and really close to take a shot at NL10. At PS I don't know, game is tough, no doubtedly, I'm still adjusting to players and games but I'm still short to make profit at these stake. I know I can be better but need to find leaks by learning and playing, of course.

December was overall BE month, profit made at 888 was lost at PS. I need to find some grinding time, I need to organize time so I could manage things that I'm doing. Soon I'm going to study for uni exams so there will be less time for poker but hope to find time to grind.

2015 was good year although I didn't made profit . I've started to get poker more serious, I study more, read articles and books, less on watching video. Also I've started to record sessions so I could get bigger picture about game and moves I made. Year started with ZOOM at NL10, I had a big downswing about 50 BI, fall down to NL5 and then switch to regular tables. It was a good switch, at NL5 made profit quickly and rebuild bankroll for NL10, and this is where I'm right now. Meanwhile, I started to play at 888. After withdrawing last year there were around $4 and start to one tabling NL2. BR grow and now I play 4/5 tables at NL6 and hope to take a shot at NL10. These are main sites where is BR, also have some $50 at Ipoker which I play just to get some strategy points. At Ipoker I played FAST tables, is some kind of warmup.

Goals for 2016.:
:spade: Finish current challenge and start new one
:spade: Study, lear, play more
:spade: Play at least 15k hands/month
:spade: Crush NL10 and move to NL25 at 888/Pokerstars
:spade: Get coach when I get to NL25
:spade: Get new desktop
:spade: Make at least $5k

January goals:
:diamond: Play 15k hands
:diamond: Take a shot @NL10 – 888
:diamond: Reread postflop articles and make strategy lines for differrent situations
:diamond: Post at least 20 hands in this thread or discussion thread
:diamond: Profit $100

Below are stats and graphs for previous weeks, month and year.

Hey man, good luck with your yearly and monthly goals. They look very achievable for you! I'm sure your going to make more than 5k this year if you keep going1

I played a bit of NL30 snap on 888 and it was some of the fishiest poker I've seen so I would maybe make a suggestion to give it a try once you are over $600. Say like $660 and have a try 2 tableing NL30. If you lose so be it and you can try again later.

I'm also considering getting some coaching at the end of the month if I hit NL20 bankroll.
Who do you think you will use?
I've had one session with w34z3l and found it pretty useful.

Thanks Stompy, I hope to realize that goals, they seem realistic.

Tomorrow will start NL10 at 888, there are lot more regular tables so hope to find some tables with bigger fishes than myself :f_biggrin:

I don't know about coaches yet, I think that search would be at the end of this year so I've got plenty of time. I will follow you, but whoever you pick I think you can't go wrong, think that every coach here is +EV.

First week of this year started very well and I think I owe that to good mindset after resting and spending time with my family. At 888 I'm taking shots @ NL10, started to play at the end of last week. So far it's alright, had one cooler which is seen in graph, I'm adopting to that limit and far as I see it's pretty tight game. I hope that I'll manage to adopt quickly and start earning some money. At PS I'm curently on a heater which started last week. Last week started with losing 3 BI but ended with 2BI in plus. I'm catching up with regs and hope to retain high level of game, waiting for lady variance.

I set myself a goals, everything looks great except posting hands, this is part where I suck big time. That's it for now and good luck at tables.

This week I finally made some decent profit at both sites. At PS things are going good, this week was great but overall I think I'm adopted very well. I don't make unforced errors and mindset is really good. At 888 in week 25 I started to play at NL10 and took shots in next week. But it didn't go as I had hoped, I've played only 1.2k hands on 2 tables and 5BI shot ended really fast. So last 2 weeks I'm playing at NL4/NL6 and recover losses, rebuilding bankroll and hope soon will try again at NL10.
Overall January was a good month, I made $100 profit, played 20k with good mindset, below are recap of january and goals for february. Also thera are stats and graps for month.

January goals:
:diamond: Play 15k hands - 20k hands :f_thumbsup: :diamond: Take a shot @NL10 888 - 5BI shot, few coolers and back to NL4/NL6 :challenge: :diamond: Reread postflop articles and make strategy lines for differrent situations - :f_thumbsup: :diamond: Post at least 20 hands in this thread or discussion thread - 0/20 fail big time  :diamond: Profit $100 - $108,51 :profit:

February goals:

Hello everyone!

I didn't update for 2 weeks so it's time to say few words about challenge and overall. I've made decent profit in past two weeks especially last week where I ran good in both sites.

At 888 I manage to recover losses from 5BI shots @NL10 so this week I'm starting new shots. Hopefully, this time will be my time. I didn't play so many hands bcs few coolers and bad beats in the beginning of playing this limit. I had big upswing this weekend so mindset is good and can't wait to take another shot. Things are going good at P* as well, in last 20k hands made around $170 profit. I can say that I'm adopted to this limit so I'm starting to find some exploitive spots to increase profit and move up.

I'm satisfied with volume, last week almost 6k hands, and hope it will be standard for upcoming weeks. I'll be playing 5 days at week, Tuesday and Wednesday will be day off for playing but not for learning, browsing and posting/evaluating hands etc etc. I've started to comment and discuss hands in evaluation threads, it's good way to confirm my knowledge and with good discussion even expand that knowledge.

Below are stats for past weeks.

Things aren't change too much after last post but there were lots of happening. After great run on Pokerstars, 2 weeks ago I hit dark side of variance. I wasn't playing bad but variance done it's work and made it losing 10 BI for NL10. I remember one session where I won 3 stacks and still get in losing session.
So, after rereading notes from one of the best threads AMA: Twice T, I've decided to follow one of the TwiceT advice about tilt and bankroll managment

everytime i lost some buy-ins on lets say 1k. say 7k. i moved down to 400 and 600 and grinded it back. i never let it happen to rly lose many buy-ins. in case i had lost also some moniez on 600, i would mix 400 and 200 and make it back. within some weeks i always had the moniez back and could continue grinding. might not be the best longterm ev decision to move down if u have sufficient bankroll, but for me it was the best choice cuz i absolutely prevented any sort of tilt due to a downswing. i just moved down, worked on my game, made the money back (and won some more) and booom, everything was ok.

So, last week I drop down to NL5 and comfortably played 12 regular tables + 4 regular tables at 888. After few k hands I've managed to recover some of my loses so I believe would be back at NL10 very soon. This is not to recover money as much to recover mental side like confidence and being to at least play B-game. Cause when you lose some sufficient amount BI you automatical start to doubt your game. I didn't want to doubt to my game so I'm playing lower limit to „convince“ myself that I'm doing some right moves.

On 888 I play regular 4 tables at NL10, I feel very good and hope I'll soon make some money. There are lots of mixed tables with regs and fishes so I have to table select. Fortunately, there are lots tables at this limit but if there aren't I even open some NL5 tables.

February profit isn't achieved, mainly because of Pokerstars downswing, made only $77 so hope that March will more profitable. Goals are the same and soon I hope I'll expand them a little. Below are goals, stats for previous weeks.

February goals:
:diamond: Play 15k hands - 21k hands
:diamond: Recover losses at 888 and take another shot - recover and playing 4 tables
:diamond: Reread postflop articles and make strategy lines for differrent situations - :f_thumbsup: :diamond: Post at least 10 hands in this thread or discussion thread - didn't post but commented so this count aswell
:diamond: Profit $100 - $77,12, lost 2 BI in last february session

March goals:
:diamond: Play 20k hands
:diamond: Recover losses at PS and get back to NL10
:diamond: Reread postflop articles and make strategy lines for differrent situations
:diamond: Post/Comment at least 10 hands in this thread or discussion thread
:diamond: Profit $100

March didn't end well, end it it red zone when hit a major downswing. This downswing is still actaul especially at pokerstars where I can't catch a break. I made it to silverstatus at Pokerstars, that's a mini achievement, so hope that through stars coin can recover some losses. ATM I'm playing 10 tables, it's optimal number and hope I won't have to reduce. If downer continue I'll take step down and grind it at NL5. 888 end it good, made it around $30 profit so it's time to make some serious money.

I'm satisfied with overall volume, played 25.5k hands and hope to even increase if I could.
March goals are mainly achieved, except profit, so this will be main focus in april. Below are stats, graphs and goals for april.

Goals:

March goals:
:diamond: Play 20k hands - 25.5k :f_thumbsup: :diamond: Recover losses at PS and get back to NL10 - didn't full recover but mindset is good :f_biggrin: :diamond: Reread postflop articles and make strategy lines for differrent situations - :f_thumbsup: :diamond: Post/Comment at least 10 hands in this thread or discussion thread - comment around 15 posts, didn't post my hands
:diamond: Profit $100 - fail :f_cry:
April goals:
:diamond: Play 25k hands
:diamond: Recover losses at PS and made solid profit

It's been a while since I made a proper blog entry so it's time to do that. I've been buisy lately, results didn't come as I expectied so I wasn't in a mood to write even few words and sentences. Since my last entry BR is improved so now it's around $930, mainly bcs of stars BR which is now around $700. Last month I used rakeback which I didn't use this year, so with addiotional $130 I have a peak at stars. I'll use monthly rakeback to recover losses or to improve my bankroll. I hit a heater at stars last week banking $110 which is almost my all profit for this month. This will allow me to consider taking shots at NL25 which will follow after my vacation, so in about 2-3 weeks. Before that I'll need to reconstruct my ranges, include some 4bet ranges bcs on NL10 I use only KK+ for my 4bet range, and QQ, AK in steal situation. I reckon that it will be a lot 3bet/4bet pots so need to improve my game in that area with proper ranges. Also I need to improve my blind game or defense vs steal bcs this are only spot with negative WR, something like -15/100 in SB and -55/100 in BB. So this is area that I will to resolve so I can move faster.
At 888 things were BE until last week when I hit a big downswing losing around $90 so I need some adjustment. I playing same game at PS and 888 but think that I'll need to change my 888 game. Maybe I'm to aggressive when playing at 888 tables, there are lot of calling station so I choose a wrong spots to bluff or value bet. With slightly adjustments I think I can turn around and make profit at 888 also, just need to work harder and results will come.

Below are stats for challenge, I'm almost at 2/3 of this journey which I hope to make soon so I can start another.

Weeks 37-53

Profit: $201,11
------------------------------------------------------------
Current Bankroll: $933,52
Overall Profit: +$672,91
Overall Progress: 44,86%

Enjoy yours vacation, as will I, and CU soon.

S**t, how time flies, it's been over 4 months since my last update. I'm really neglected this blog and I feel kind of a shame :f_frown:. Anyway I hope I'll be start to make updates at least on weekly basis, where I would post some stats, hands and maybe graphs.

I'm still playing at PS and 888 with overall bankroll of $1045 so I'm around $450 short to complete my first challenge. After vacation I took shot on NL25 at PS which started very well at a beginning with almost 8 BI in green. But then I hit downswing where a lost $400 and get me back to grind at NL10. Today I took another shot so hope I will stick a little longer at this limit. At 888 I keep bouncing between limits, mainly NL5 and NL10. Currently I'm at NL10 and feel very good so hope I will make another hop to next limit.

Below are stats from week 54 until now and few hands losing/winning hands from last session. Comment if you like and point to mistakes that I made.

I decide to take passive line and just call vs shortstacks.

I'm satisfied but maybe I could extract more money from villain by betting small at flop/turn/river.

Last week start great, made it around $85 on Monday but with 7 losing session I've got another red week. This is feeling frustrated cause I've been jumping up and down, especially at 888. I just need to work hard and learn so I can find my place under the sun. I cut down number of tables so now I'm playing 5 NL25 at PS and 4 NL10 tables at 888. I'm satisfied with volume, several weeks that was around 10k per week and with new number of tables I think I can manage to play around 7k, with that I'll be satisfied.

Below are stats and graph for last week, good luck and CU.

Week 71

Hands: 9637
Profit: -$117,96
------------------------------------------------------------
Current Bankroll: $927,55
Overall Profit: +$666,94
Overall Progress: 61,84%

Hi DanDule, thx for signing in :f_thumbsup:
My bankroll is a little over $900, I've got something around $700 at Pokerstars and $250 at 888, mixing NL25 and NL10 FR regular tables.
