Hey King!
Just wanna say love your blog and motivation! Keep it up!
good luck!
Thanks, I was slacking for a while. Blaming downswings and stuff. But I changed from first to 2nd gear, and now that the engine stopped b@tching around, because I drove with first gear on the highway, I can finally play normally.
It's all about skill, and before I got sick, I had the click moment where I started pwning. And it clicked again, so gear 2, here I am.
Lets f@ck em bithcz.

weird hands
1) spewy barrel, also your hand is also def strong enough to call ip
2) is he super wide or anything, why not just try to cooler him preflop?
3) alright i guess
1). Turn we have a gutshot and 2 overs. But riverbet, I dunno. I don't really have anything beat which calls 2 times. But he didn't raise either, so he is either kinda weak and will fold OTR or he has the nuts. But don't really know if it's +EV to bet there. Don't expect him to have many bluffs here or KQ at all
2). He had already 80% Ft3bet, so I don't think he stacks off with much worse and I wanted to keep him wide. His cbet was very high on flop and turn.
PS: Is it just me or does that happen to you daily? No idea why I always improve on the river but always face the absolute nuts.

Dunno, just don't give him sets with his PF 3bet. So either TT, or something like QT. But might as well be FD, K :diamond:x hands or just turned flushes which dont want to fold OTR

Okay. Took me some time, but I have restarted serious poker. Whenever I feel worst and start at NL2 again, I have the urge to post in here. Don't know why.
# Weekly goals:
1. Play 3.000 hands per day, 5d / week.
2. Review marked hands
3. Watch one video daily
4. Write something in the blog
#
# My biggest leak is proper BR Management.
So here is my plan now:
100$ move up to NL5
200$ move up to NL10
#
I am not wanting to whine, but I run really bad.

Sample is over 50k hands played, 3k hands used for the graph.
Addiotionally, I run 10 BI under EV and the times I flop something great, it's a cooler. Seeing that I made +2 BI with 20 flopped straights. Mainly because people either always fold, or I have the bottom end straight.
Then I checked my biggest losses over the last few weeks, and they either turned or rivered their stuff.
That needed to go out, you see world, I am the poorest player.
I don't want to post particular hands, because they always start to tilt me, and I'm just about to start my first daily session.
Out of unknown reasoning, I will keep this blog now up to date.
If I make it to NL10 quickly, I'll post a hardcoresexy picture of me (familiysafe, don't worry). ♦

Don't rely too much on stats at NL5.
Thanks, your word is always very appreciated.
Correct. I need to work on myself, not to over-read stats. Or basically mainly use stats for the PF game.
Today wasnt the best day. But I have a lot to work on, I ran bad but meh, I could be higher if I play better. Thats what I need to focus on anyway.
1. 3k hands - 4,2k hands [✓]
2. Review marked hands [Not many marked - improve tomorrow]
3. Watch one video daily [✓]
4. Write something in the blog [✓]
Aims for tomorrow:
1. Remove all No-equity moves (e.g. cbetting with air, calling cbets with air)
2. Don't bluff fish.
3. Get my act together. Mistakes can happen once. At max.

Try 3 - Day 2:
1. 3k hands - 4k hands [✓]
2. Review marked hands [✓]
3. Watch one video daily [✓]
4. Write something in the blog [x]
Current BR: 47,60$
Played 4k hands yesterday and changed my gameplan. You might see, where I did it. At ~ hand 2400 I changed something.

Two days ago, over the course of 5 sets I did a total of 26 pull-ups. Obviously with clean technique. Most sore part of my body is my belly. Pull-ups rock! ♦
I'm not eating any sugar for a few weeks now, and avoiding deepfried / bad oil foods. Getting closer and closer to a good belly, but can't believe, how much fat there still is, once you sit.
Anyway, yesterday I played tennis, for the third time in my life. It's fun, and somewhat close to other sports I know, like volleyball. Serving the ball has a similar motion. It's fun, and makes it much easier to run and sweat. Because, naturally I hate running.
Delayed making a blog entry, since I wanted to watch a movie with my girlfriend and she had to work this morning, it was late, after me playing an extra 1000 hands after change of strategy and motivation burst.
Well, gotta start a session soon.
Try 3 - Day 3:
1. 3k hands - 3k hands [✓]
2. Review marked hands [x]
3. Watch one video daily [x]
4. Write something in the blog [✓]
Current BR: 48,65$
Today, very tired from pull-ups and tennis and a short nights sleep. Anyhow, started the day well with the first two sessions. And then the last 1000 hands just went straight down. Couldn't find the light at the end of the tunnel.
Basically I never hit, hit the 2nd nuts or 2nd best kicker and all others opponents chose this line ---->
Bet flop, check turn, check/raise river 4x or bigger

And here my winnings in the third session:

I don't really mind running under EV, that's just the way it is. I know everyone says, they're unlucky. But if I say I'm unlucky, it's really true.
Anyway, I'm very tired. But the more I think about every hand, the more I need to focus, the better I feel while playing and afterwards. I can really relax after a session, because I gave it all, while playing. Feels good.
Tomorrow, we have the tennis court booked in the clubhouse (if you lived here, you would think it looks like a holiday resort ♦). Gotta play and then play some more. Probably will play the weekend poker, and maybe rest a day coming week.
I am still waiting for the upswing day ♦
Here just a few samples, I gotta go eat now though. Tomorrow's another day, at least I made some profit today ![]()
Good luck to all of you at the tablos!

Soso, long time no see.
I have done a 100k hands in 3 weeks challenge, and ended up in NL10.
Hopefully able to move up to NL25 soon.
I found a room in Hong Kong, and set myself a 3 months ulitmatum to make enough to survive! After that I will be officially broke ♦ Or not. We will see.
I also invested in a new computer, with a new i5 and 8gb ram life is sooooo much better! And a new screen as well ^^

It's day1.
I just feel like I am way too tired to write a lot, because I only slept a few hours. Couldn't sleep at night and got woken up very early by the very bright light. Then my phone cable is not working, so I can't charge it, so need to get out later and get a new one.
After that, I will post some pictures, to make things more obvious.
My weekly goals are:
Play 25.000+ hands
Watch 5 videos
Write blog entry
Let's see if I can rise the stakes.

Hello people,
I am still playing and studying a lot. Currently I start once again at NL2, but this time I will use proper BRM. I improve as much as I can, and the 10 tips to get out of the micros from double2 is pretty good. I adjusted my cbetting strategy a little, and mainly there's one trick I see all midstakes pros do:
1. Take any pro
2. Watch him play
3. Hear him say "I should check/raise this river" - "I should call this, he could have X or Y" "I should do this or that"
4. Midstakes pro says "I think I just make a nitty fold"
5. Profit $$$
But honestly, I feel like I get better every day. And maybe some of the more active people see me spamming in the Hand Evaluation forum, but I am giving my best every hand I review. And this helps me a looooooooooooot. Every mistake I correct there I don't have to do, for me it's no difference in going there and actually playing. It's just amazing to study, I really enjoy it.
Well, I'm not planning on giving up until I made it. I will stick around. I'm just horrible at keeping this blog uptodate, so no more promises, I will just post whenever I feel like it.
Good luck you peoplez.
PS: I am looking for NL100/NL200 players which I can learn from, or discuss some strategy. If anyone is up to it, just message me and I'll add you in Skype

Hey KingKas,
Welcome to the 'Get Rich or Die Tryin' bankroll challenge. we will be looking forward to your first update which you should post by Monday of each week in Get Rich or Die Tryin' - The Bankroll Challenge - Reporting thread.
Have fun ![]()

Ok short update. As Lazza stated, I joined the challenge.
Short about myself. I need to use better BRM, so I am trying to do that now. Also, I split my studying / playing to nearly 50/50. I really enjoy studying, and some of you might see me storming around the Hand Evaluation forum, in German and English. Also love to watch videos and generally play around with Equilab. It helps soooo much to study. It's basically like playing for me, just with a deeper analysis. I feel like it helps me a lot already at the tables, and it's true. Once you start learning, there's so much to learn. Sometimes I spent hours just learning until I realize I should put in some volume, too.
