It is tough to answer this. Unlike now, I ran like god at the beginning of the year and it didn't even take 1500games and a month till I was at 60s...

I definitely think that there are more regs at 30s nowadays than they were in January. However it is not as bad and the games are still quite easily beatable.

yeah, he is so often in a lobby that it isn't a problem to sit him. He sits me occasionally but never ever rematched me... He is obv not a winning player but he is >50% itm overall which makes him better than average fish. Sometimes I don't even know how he can be >50% itm ♦

Playing with Sharky is so much nicer, I'm finally able to put in some volume. I'm playing 2 table, 60s stakes.

Staking is gonna be over soon and I have to decide whether I wanna keep playing on myself 60s or get a stake for mixing in 100s. I guess staking might be better since my mindset is a lot better this way.

So far, I'm having 63,5k VPPs and I should be able to make Supernova although I have a lot of school work/other activities. Just gotta cut on the time wasted on facebook etc...

How many games are you able to put in per hour when two tabling with sharky ?

i get around 30games/hr on average at 60s 2 tabling:)

I haven't been updating at all lately and just want to finish this in a good mood

I reached 100k VPPs and the Supernova status today which was the main goal for 2012 although I doubt many times that I will make it since my volume hasn't been so great.

In 2011, I didnt even make 10k vpps and was switching to hypers in end decemeber and those were my goals

[x] get to 30s HT asap once I manage 2-tabling better. BR is big enough, still want to get little more practice. Move there till the end of this month
[x] be a regular at 60s by the end of april
[x] playing at least 100s by the end of the year (playing 100s + 60s - not sure if I will play higher because even the traffic at 100s isn't so great)
[x] supernova on stars
[x] keep studying the game, doing sweat sessions, learn from the best!
[x] try to put in bigger volume (def improved at the end of the year)
[x] don't cry during swings, finish reading The Mental Game Of Poker and overall improve my mental game (sorta, I guess I will always have this problem)
[ ] don't spend so much time doing useless stuff online (fail, I cut out some time, still should more)

I think this blog was interesting when I was trying to move up. Now I basically reached a level where I will most likely stay. My mental game isn't good enough to take the swings at 200s+ even though I have the BR for that. Even at 100s I don't know whether I can achieve higher hourly than at 60s. The fishes are just a bit better there, more simultsits and the traffic is lower.

So I will just continue playing 60s+100s aiming for up to 200-300k vpps next year depending on how much I will travel and not play poker. It's possible I will shot higher stakes sooner or later. Not right now. Therefore I don't wanna just keep describing my regular grind here... Also (with no offence), I don't think pokerstrategy can help my game much anymore so don't visit this site often.

Gratz and gl in the future. Also enjoyed following, you earned your success and now it´s time to party and travel imo ! GJ

Thanks. This HU tourney was very soft. Or I just was lucky to play almost only vs fish. I played one good and one decent player along the way.

In final my opponent offered chop, however i didnt wanna take equal, since he wasnt a HU player. He agreed to get 700usd less, however he ended up winning the extra 250 and the title. Congratz

GL, try finding some players that play your stakes discuss hands etc. I will send you PM with the vids you can watch. Its a husng site, std memebership, google should do the trick as well

YES. I'm sorry guys. I wrote that before in the post. I'm not updating this blog anymore. Since there were some replies now, I answered. The thing is that I'm not really trying to move up and just grind 60-100s which is not super interesting. I tried some 200s yesterday but waiting 5min for a lobby only to simulsit with another regular doesnt sound so appealing. Plus there are basically no bad regs, so its not easy to make it through there. I also dont have sharkystrator for 200s+, I will need to get it if I wanna try. But Im really not sure. The money at 60s-100s is already good, its less stressful, hopefully it will not get too boring with a time. I might take shots again higher, not sure. Will see. So far, its been a very good month. Running good at hypers on Stars + final in that HU tourney on FTP makes this month my best so far.

Just started with HU Hypers, on micros atm cuz most of my roll is on WPT instead of stars. Do you use software to re-reg new ones? cuz i find it quite annoying having to reg manually while still playing others.
Furthermore i'm planning to read merseannary's ebook and watch videos of chadders0. Anything else you recommend?

Software for registering is called sharkystrator and every reg at higher stakes uses it because its basically impossible to get a lobby without it since everybody uses it.

As far as the materials go, Mers' videos and book + chadders pack should be enough to get you into 30s. Btw fellow regualar who also plays 60s and 100s has a blog here. none888 (i think daun666 here) and he can give out basically the same tips as me hope he doesnt mind me recommending him haha
