April hasn't been a great month at all so far but today proved different

I experienced my best HU SnG day ever ! (obviously volume sucks and it's only 60s)

That puts me back to BE for this month (has been pretty swingy)

I'm not gonna post the EV graph, i'm just slightly below EV, not worth mentioning. Glad that I didn't run bad in both card distribution and EV...
I also 2-table much more than I used to but I don't think that results this month are bad because of this
I wish I had more time to play but I'm actually satisfied with the volume this month

Nothing tilts me more than a fish godmoding me in setups, not really in winning flips. This was more than funny...

The sad part is that it actually makes me tilt instead of me remaining cool

Flustrating period continues. Variance in hypers just can be pretty sick. Or maybe I just simply suck? The whole month has been ridiculously swingy and my both winnings and EV are pretty much at 0. The flustrating thing is that EV hasn't been really going up steadily anymore.

That makes me wonder, wtf am I doing wrong? Can I really blame it on constantly running into top ranges, being dominated in every fuckin spot? I'm not sure tbh If at least the goddamn EV went up... Luckily I'm still winning flips (or running normal there) but at this time I would rather the EV line going up

Next problem is, that I am PT4 fish. I really can't work with the program. PT3 was so much easier. I can't even find for example all my 99 hands and see how i was doing there. How many times have I been dealt AA? Well, I don't know... Obviously I don't want to blame my poor results this month on subjective bad luck but want to back it up with some results. Obviously can't find everything. Will spend some time on this.

I guess the main problem is that I can't expect to be winning all the time with little swings. My edge at the 100s is definitely lower there than at lower stakes, therefore the swings will be bigger. The thing is that no regs sit me whatsover even at the 100s so I'm BE this month mainly vs fish which is just a bit tilting

1) Install HEM1;
2) Transfer database to HEM1;
3) Check reports;

But seriously, don't worry. You don't suck. I mean, you're a proven winner over a big sample. The fact that you're running poorly for a month after running OK/Great for a longer time is nothing to worry about. And running bad in card distribution can suck so much more than to run bad in EV, because you just don't have any tool that will tell you that it's happening, so you start doubting yourself. Just keep on studying and playing.

My only question is if you still single-table? If you switched to multitabling you might want to go back.

You don't even now how glad I would be to have HM1. Unfortunately I had only cracked version which can't process hypers properly (no EV line etc.) and there is no way to buy it now. I regret not buying HM1 earlier.

I still don't think that my run wasn't great because of 2-tabling. I have been 1-tabling a lot, still mostly 1-table the 100s. I guess I will just stick to playing 1-table for now till it turns around
The card distribution thing is just flustrating, I obviously can't complain about my EV run because I'm about 4k above EV this year. However I believe that I was running normally in set ups/coolers until this month but there is no way to measure it obviously.

Anyways, don't wanna make this a crying blog. Next update will probably be at the end of the month unless something really interesting happens

It's also funny how no regs want to play me. Yesterday I took both lobbies at the 100s and no one joined for like 2 minutes!! I thought that some reg would just join me but i kept waiting and obviously 2 fishes joined obv they both won

Well, that in itself should be the measure of your game. Just keep on grinding and no worries.

Also, try sending an e-mail to HEM people to ask if you can use HEM1 with a HEM2 license. It might be possible.

I can help you out with PT4, dont know everything but know how to make same basic filters(like to see things you posted on 2p2).

Well mate, it seems you are experiencing some variance in the hypers...we pld b4 quite a few times when I was in a huge doomswitch period, I stopped playing hypers due to the insane variance and I am 350 bi below ev in 11k games which is 27k below ev in basically 2 months of play....

Anything is possible in this game

hey man, well i dont really have problem EV wise, I don't mass-table, my volume isn't great and therefore the period of runbad can be pretty long obv ... Tbh I have never seen a graph of being 350bi below EV in 11k games. I have seen some terrible runbad graphs in terms of EV on 2p2 but it never was over 300bi. I know you were using HM2. I don't know but I heard a lot of times that EV just doesn't work there properly...
Your runbad really seems extreme. I know a lot of players at my stakes but haven't heard of such ranbad. If it is 350bi below EV for real, then I have no words to say

It was extreme mate, i was losing 80 percent of all ins preflop for like 10k games lol it was as extreme as the graph shows...

But it can happen and it did

Another thing I found very interesting was that I was up against 95% of regs I had big samples with including the top ones from 60's and 100's, which means I was getting raped by fish luckboxing me...

But whatever, I am just trying 2 warn you that it is standard variance, and given how high your roi is you was no question about it running very good so far, it will just be different to what you have experienced so far as variance evens out. So swings will be huuuge

Ok, got back from London few days ago and figured out that I haven't made an April summary yet

APRIL
I have been learning the whole month what the variance in hyper turbos can be like. It has been full of ups and down and I didn't basically move anywhere. In the end, I still ended up in "profit" + rakeback ♦

The only good thing about last month was a decent volume. Still it is only a fraction of what other regs put in. Oh well, I'm still at school, have other activities, can't really do much better.

I don't really want to start excusing my results too much. Sometimes it's been fkin ridiculous to be honest, so many flustrating days when I was dominated over and over. However, there is no way to measure it and I should just concentrate on playing my best in the future.

I haven't really been and am not in the mood to write some long essay concerning my results. Unfortunately, even May started the same way April did.

Even the EV line isn't great obviously but no excuses, I just have to play my best, put in some volume and analyze my game. Hopefully the results from first quater of 2012 will come back soon.

Goals for May
- play mainly 100s by the end of the month (right now I have really safe BR for it but just don't feel like it)
- 8500VPPs + will be nice
- 2-table when feeling good
- end up in decent profit
