So it looks like I've been released back into the wild! Thank you PokerStrategy!
I've already signed up for the HU Championships - if you haven't already then GET IT DONE NOW!
In the middle of a session right now but will make a super boring update later that will help put you all to sleep tonight - I promise!
Ok, so I've been away from PokerStrategy since March or so.
March - June
Most of March was quite on the poker front as we settled into our new home. I played the anniversary Sunday Million and mincashed it. (My first ever cash in the Sunday Million!)
I couldn't settle back in to the 180s at all and was between them, $3.50 45 mans and MTTs. In the end I went back to MTTs. Towards the end of the month, we received a real hammer blow when my father suffered a severe stroke. This affected a lot of my spare time over the past few months. More on this later.
In April, I semi final tabled a SCOOP event on PokerStars.fr for maybe €250. I finished 10th (lol bubble) I think that is my only noticable MTT score this year. I definitely cannot remember anything else as significant. Dad spent all of April in hospital. Towards the end of the month he was released from hosptial to a recovery home for pyshio.
May, brought about SCOOP and I was literally only playing Sundays at this point and spending most of my week nights between work and the home. SCOOP was a wall-to-wall disaster. I game selected very well and in the end I mincashed the Low Main event but was down a good chunk overall. I had saved up money to play SCOOP so I wasn't that bothered. I gambled the remainder of my then very small bankroll on SCOOP packages and unfortunately I ended up stone broke! Way to go Gary! Dad was progressing a long nicely. After his stroke he lost pretty much all the power on his left side. No walk. Nothing. With the rehabilitation things were getting better.
In June, I was visiting the hospital less and had more time at home and decided to look for backing to play 180s again. Dad was walking with the aid of a frame and was getting home every weekend so things were definitely on the up. I found a good backing and coaching deal and started playing on the 13th of June. Started with the mother of all upswings and ended the month $600+ up 
July
July was great for volume, my first ever 500+ game month but obviously didn't sustain the 70% ROI which was a shame. In the middle of the month I cut loose from my backer who just didn't seemed to be rolled enough for his plans. So I've been selling my action since then.
In better news, Dad was released from the home as he finished his recovery program. He still has a lot of recovery to go through. He is walking with a walking aid but he has very little power/movement in his hand and it's a struggle for him at the moment.
August
On the poker side - I've began the month with a $200 downswing - my first severe downswing. Over the course of 1K games though I'm very happy with how things are going.
Still, there is a lot of work to do and there is no getting complacent!

It's amusing me that you first gambled in the SCOOPs and then asked Stars' SnG director to add a deal-making facility to the lol 180s. Are you risk-averse or risk-seeking in fact? 
May the things turn around for the best and may your father recover soon!
I hope you're going to be more careful with Pokerstrategy's management this time. There's little sense in going to war even if something doesn't satisfy you.
After you conquer the $2.50 turbos and the $4.50 regspeeds (zzzz), are you going to focus on the $8 freezeouts, or the $3.5 rebuys, or both equally?

Hey mate, thanks for the welcome back.
He has a long way to go yet and most likely won't recover much power in his hand. He was taking steps around the house last night and I brought him for a drive so he seems quite happy at the moment.
The 180s are going OK as long as this downswing ends sooner rather than later or I'll be back looking for 100% backing again!

Good to see another familiar face!
The reason I made that request is because you are playing HU for 40BI very often with regs who would snap call a deal any day of the week. I just asked for what other people were too afraid to ask for 
Well the immediate plan is to make enough money at the $2.5s ($500) so I can play them on my own at first. I'm about 1/2 way there at the minute and was like $50 away at one point! Grrr! I certainly won't play the $3.5Rs as I've absolutely zero experience in the rebuy format so it will likely be the $8s but probably not until 2016 at this rate.

Ah, if you're going to focus on the freezeouts, where HUs are rather shallow (though not totally negating the edges - HU hyper and Spin regs know how to exploit weaker regs even at 10-15 bb), dealing makes more sense. In the $3.5Rs, though, HUs are often reasonably deep, there's more edge to be had over regs and I (or my opponent if he's better) wouldn't trade it for that smallish decrease in variance.

It's beginning to form a horribly looking descent at the minute so hoping I can turn that around before the damage gets more severe! Overall she's looking fairly healthy so far alright.
My lifetime graph looks alright too with a little bigger of a sample - although this was taken a few days ago so it's a little less better off now!
Played a small session tonight of 25 games. The downswing continues.... Will post a proper update every 100 or so games or maybe 1-2 times a week!

Just had the most tilting final table experience in the longest time.
Was 1/6 with half the chips in play and looking odds-on for at least a top 2 finish. But, no I finish 4th instead! Having a tough time at the minute! Cannot win a flip!

As per the push/fold Nash equilibrium, it's 11.3%, 66+ A8s+ ATo+ KTs+ KQo.
I'm not sure what happens to it if SB also has a minraising range (as he should).
And contrary to my previous belief, SB's shove is theoretically not ATC, though in practice, every decent reg will play ATC here.
