I haven't always seen eye to eye with Gary on here, but will say this for him, at least he had the balls to say what he thought, and was actually quite helpful (even after he got the 'boot') at times [when not in a strop] 
take it easy, man!
I will miss Gary. He was a great help to me when I first joined.
However I figured when he went off on that tirade a while ago it would come back and bite him.

As Lazza pointed out, he was not banned.
He will be back -- or at least if not, it will be his choice.
The reason was not his opinion, rather the manner in which he expressed it.
The topic was the removal of black member events.
There is a thread for that in which anyone is free to express any opinion, bearing in mind our forum principles,

Good riddance I say. Apparently he smells bad, beats his wife, is an alcoholic and eats children and small animals, especially cute bunny rabbits. There's even a rumour that he's not English.
