Gameplay
When life gives you lemons, get kicked in the balls. No seriously, I started this limit on an amazing upswing, i was running almost 50bb/100 for about 5k hands... After that my luck turned.
I found myself losing with full houses with a flush board, to a better full house. Players calling down back door flush draws to 2/3 raises and and hitting it.... Kept missing my OESD and Flush draws having to fold on the river. On top of that, I kept losing all-ins.. but what doesn't break you makes you stronger.
I did end up tilting hard one session... It's hard mentally to take that kind've abuse....
Anyways, like always this down swing has improved my game. I read more books the last 2 weeks read No Bullshit poker 6max. It has something interesting concepts. What I've down is...
+ widen my opening ranges roughly 1-3% per each position
+ made a fancy cheat chart with calling I.P and 3 betting...
+ I have almost 3 weeks experience @ NL5, So i'm getting better with population read... Alot of more players 3bet at this limit.. I notice TP isn't as good either compared to NL2
+ meet up with some other players and screen shared some sessions
+ read no bullshit poker 6max e-book - No bullshit 6max
Bankroll
Well I was able to cash in a bunch of star coins for the first time. I got $20 rakeback from 2,000 coins. I've also won the deal 2x now, and made $10 from 150 coins, so overall $30 from rakeback to my bank roll, a free 10% boost
As you can see in the graph, my EV took a hard hit. from -$35 to a nice -$100, so going from -17.5 BI's @ NL2, to -20 BI's @ NL5 DID NOT FEEL GOOD. It did encourage me to look more closely at my game and I've found some big leaks...
I think i've start NL10 @ $600 giving me 60 BI's for that limit.
