I'm going to take a few days off of poker.. Been busted from a few SnG's & MTT's on preflop situations with AA/KK's vs. Lower pairs etc. now and other river situations.
Not just one or two hands either.. And the hands I've been dealt have been trash (9-3off, J4off etc.) and it reached a point where I had to shove all-in in order to stay in the game with AQ's because of the blinds etc..
The only reason I've stayed alive in a few of the tournies/sng's is because I eventually took the part of a strict player rather than slowballing as I usually do and bluffed in good spots to stay alive and hoped for someone to call when I actually had something, and when it happened I lost on the river in disgusting ways.. It seems like my opponents hits minimal outs every goddamn time. A few days to let the steam off seems like a good idea now.
Whenever something in my life seems frustrating I write rhymes to get it out of my system. If anyone wants to read what I wrote today it can be found in the spoiler tags below;

The first day I met the flames
I kept analyzing my games,
but in this hand I had no doubt;
Like getting caught for public sex you pay for getting sucked out...
It was buck wild; Aces versus tens made me want to murder my friends,
He caught straight to come from behind and made it a popular trend.
Odds seem to bend physics and I'm done taking my toll,
I'm picturing ATM machines on wheels as my bank roll.
High over heels the fish reels the fisherman till he kneels on his knees,
at least that's how it feels when he calls with trash and win it with ease.
The river runs deep for the creep that sleep beneath sheets of deuces and it's f**king disgusting,
you heathens of long term losers depend on ugly ducklings and a little something.. something....
It's rotten donking and the river is destroying my mind,
I'm drowning behind the continuous grind...
At day two I let out the affordable steam,
And thought of the day before as a horrible dream.
Slowballing as I took the character of the turtle from Aesops fable.
But I sat down at the table oblivious that I was both Cain and Abel.
I was far from stable as I pumped the money truck with my jumper cable,
dragged it along the road of my own misery as a means to mark my label;
''The losing bagel'' even bread crumbs resist to put their dough in,
And I'm bleeding chips when it comes to the final showin'...
The third day I pray for the big pay,
Or as I say; ''mindstate and right play''.
Seems bright to re-pop it with suited AK's,
The flop shows four, ten J and I'm facing a raise,
Implied odds convinced me calling with space
Keeping my face as the turn hits the flush that's been waitng for days,
The river pairs the board and I start steaming inside,
I called his all-in as he took the pot with the pride.
He played it right so I can't deny I was outta luck,
but it didn't stop me from screaming; WHAT THE F**K?!
At the fourth day I broke my PC with a fire extinguisher,
And threw it to the wall with a following signature mortal combat finisher...

Then we still think afterwards maybe it happened cause we thought it would.
lol but this was really hectic pokerstove says AA was winning 99.697% against A7 on that flop. Good to get that one off my shoulders

UL stompy! You played it correctly though... Next time you'll might have more luck.
Stompy aren't you playing a bit above you BR? Have you ever read our articles regarding bankroll management? I just don't want you to bust your roll because your playing nl10 while you 'should' be playing nl2. But in the end it's your call of course!

Thanks Ras, Yeah i was playing above my BR a little, just thought id have a little NL10 table going while i grinded some NL2 tables.
I know about BR management and have been grinding away on NL2 but taking the odd stab at NL10 which i really shouldnt do.
I will be trying to build my BR of $46 only at NL2 tables and possibly $2 buy ins at NL5 and not blow it this time haha.

Haha no, I think he stacked me again a few orbits later
I prefer my money goes to the these players though than anyone else, I always view is a kind of shorterm loan with high interest rates and it keeps them happy in the meantime.

I should start thinking like this! If a fish stacks me 2 times in a short period of time I tend to tilt
Good thing is I can stop playing pretty fast when I feel I'm tilt.
