I'm going AI here, with no doubts. This is of course vs. unknown or little known. Why don't you re-buy?

Yeah, fill your stack to 100 BBs. Flop is connected. You can push.

What do you mean to fill my stack to 100 BB ?

Always to re-bay when your stack falls below 100 BB. This allows you to play according to BigStackStrategy.

Ok. I am not sure if this option is possible in PKR, but as i say in one of the first hands that i have posted, i am not a cash player. I played it only when there is promotion, and i started with 10$ play 100 hands ( because this is the promotion condition and no mater if i win or loose i stop playing, sounds like a tournament play :) ) But now i am learning the cash strategies and i think it will be better not only to play for the promotion but also try to win some cash. :f_biggrin:

So thanks a lot to all that give opinion about the hands that i post. :f_drink:

99 in this spot won't win you as much as 972 rainbow boards obviously, you may run in to bigger hands but I am getting a set in here. There are so many potential draws, two pair combos as well as sets that you crush a lot and are crushed a small amount. Getting it in here will of course win you money in the long run against most opponents unless they are 4/0 over 10k hands and raise you up here haha.

It`s definately a fold after he reraises, your absolute hand strenght does not matter at all. You are absolutely crushed by his range and the only hand you do OK against is AJs which has huge equity anyways.

@excitedpoker, it may come as a surprise (or something you don't believe). When it comes to balancing you bluffing and bluff catching, all that matters is YOUR hand and the BOARD. The opponents range is completely immaterial, especially if he is unknown as here. It isn't even a close decision.

Spots like these are quite easy to analyze. Learn the math and take it to Equilab.

In this case, you need some 27% equity. This is something you EASILY have with 7 + 10 outs versus a straight. (Versus made straights, your equity is 42%) If he does this in addition with QQ and TT (ONLY), it is still an easy decision not to fold. If he does this with just one hand that you beat (say AA), then a fold is criminal. You are even a favorite versus a balanced player.

If you don't want to be shoved upon on turn (and face a genuinely tough decision) shove right away.

Hi there,

After the 3-bet on flop, I think we should be cry-folding. He has only better sets here or nuts in general on NL10 IMO. Unless we have some sort of indications that he could do this kind of play with hands like oesd+fd, we should just give up..

Did you do the math? (Hint, no you didn't.)

I have made some calculation as YohanN7 advice.

When i calculate the pot odds i need 20% to call. So even when i put a range of QQ, TT ( oversets) and KJs/o and J8s(straights) even vs that range i have 28% equity. When i put two pairs in the calculation like QTs and T9s the things look a lot better with 43% equity. When i put one pair with draws ( straight or flush ) thinks start to look better and vs some players i can be ahead their range.

The only range that crashes me is QQ and TT. If he has only this 2 hands in his range i am away behind and have only 1 out.

So looked this way the call seems mathematically right.

To be honest this thing surprised me to.

The only problem is that you are calculating a call and his flop 3bet is an effective shove, his money is going on any turn no matter what and you can`t fold at any point if you call flop, calculating odds of calling has no point cause he has half pot sized bet behind and is definately jamming any turn, you should be calculating odds for stack-off. Lol at villain bluff 3betting half his stack on the flop for balance

@excitedpoker Yes, calling flop is committing. If villain is sitting on AA and barrels again - so much better. If he is nutted, too bad.

Goddammit, you don't fold 100bb deep when you flop a set in this game at any limit. Well, not heads up at least. You obviously have to read up on bluffing. You are extremely vulnerable to it. Villain should be 3-betting you with his entire range here.

@ma6inata100: Yes, Equliab is hugely useful. Most "advisors" around here just try to put the opponent on a hand (the magical read), then totally ignore other possibilities. "The ALWAYS have it". Lol at anything else. On occasion you find someone arguing totally the other way around. "He NEVER has it here". (That bet is too big, must be a bluff.)

By the way, if I had AA/KK, I'd strongly consider 3-betting on that flop if I was villain.

We can add JJ to this 3-betting hands.

This is not a fold if opponent is unknown.
He often could have QT, KK+, 2 clubs or some AJ, AQ. rarer air. Depending on how lose he is maybe T9s
Of course there are KJ, QQ, TT. Not so many combos.

I think if you can narrow his bluff range to zero and remove AJ, AQ, T9 then you could find a fold here.
