ive got a feeling i couldnt have played this one any worse ![]()
vs his stats i should have just given up after seeing this flop, right? and if i decide to check back flop (some SD value) to call turn i should have changed that plan after seeing the turn card, right?
or maybe thats too weak and you like my check back on the flop but would prefer to fold this particular turn?
or maybe checking back flop makes little sense since our SD value is not that great after all and looking at his stats by betting flop we may actually fold out some better hands (99, TT, maybe KJ or sth).
so basically i would choose between either giving up straight away or bet/folding flop. The line i took makes the least sense imo, even if the turn is an undercard im not happy with a call.
edit: ive just found a very similar hand:

this time its also against a reg, but a BE one 16/12/2/309
as you can see i took exactly the same line (just this time the turn card was better) but im not really happy abt it, at least im not sure its the best line. Would you look at these two hands in the same way or their stats make them totally different? Tbh i really struggle to think of the best line in either of these situations. if i had to choose id say that i would cbet/fold both hands, but im really not sure abt it. Any help much appreciated. cheers!
