Hero shows J♥ J♠ (One Pair, Jacks) (Pre 57%, Flop 86%, Turn 91%)
UTG wins 1.83 BB

I bet 33% as default vs range which mostly c/r or fold as here. He is agro fish so it should be easy call flop and turn. River? I guess river is blank, he would check if he would hit Kx?

Hi G,

maybe we could 3bet pre flop versus this guy?

Post flop, I would take a look at his cbet flop stat, if I see close to 100% I would be more concerned about calling down because it starts to look like slowplay. But I like the idea of betting small flop. Turn good.

River is meh, bad card since QJ and KT got there. My plan would be to call down on most rundowns but K is one of the worst cards, maybe fold river A and K? I'm not sure. Calling is definitely fine, specially if villains is loose pre flop.

For me is Q, K, A blank. I think he would shut down if he would hit top pair, unless he overplays top pais a lot. He can still has plenty of air like PP, he is agro fish and i rarely fold vs them

Villain doesn't rep As or Ks, he'd probably c-bet those. Also Qs I strongly doubt he's checking, but could be. So QJ could be in his range. He could raise those against such a small bet on the flop, or maybe not, it's pretty unclear.
I think villains line make absolutely zero sense with a set, too. I think this calldown is pretty sick but I kinda like it. We have to be extremely careful though, we need to think a LOT about the exact texture before making this play.

Oh and btw, I think villain would most likely check the river if he hits TP.

Bluff catcher is bluff catcher doesnt matter if it is tptk or 2nd pair. This one is great as it blocks flush. Vs tight guy i fold all the time, vs agro fish i call all day long

I usually play c/r with nut fd and some of nut flush because people will fire very frequent on such board, some hands to protect some bluff some value.

After the turn T, I don't think A or K on the river are complete blanks. But yeah, against this guy the call down seems good.

When I said blanks, I meant he will not bet it for value nor as bluff (also reg wouldnt because it doesnt have value), so when he bets it he doesnt have it, when he checks he might have it (and often has it).

I understood your point, I just think on this rundown people might show up with QJ/KT a bit too much for our taste. And those combos he is betting for sure. So I would not call that blanks since I think we lose more often, although I would still call against this guy.

KTs = 2 combos
JQs = 2 combos (we block it)

It is max 4 combos that he bluffs flop and hits strong, but what are the chances he plays exactly KTs, JQs that way? Even the chance that he plays c/r flop bet turn with this hand is small, then even smaller that he bets river (even if he bets river 90% total probability that he plays KTs that way gets smaller).

As I can see, all we have are pure assumptions, and it helps not much to think so much about his range here, what he is going to bluff exactly, and what for value. Simply, if he is agro fish call it, if nit fold flop, if reg call GTO.

I think this guy has at least some off suit combos of that. But I agree with you, call down versus this guy, fold versus nit.
