Hi everyone

Preflop I think my 3bet was ok against a 56/15 fish. But then a reg from BB also called and otf he mad a potbet. I didn't have much info about him, but I suspect that if i had called i would have been facing with an AI ott. And because i couldn't imagine him doing this with anything worse than a TT (but ofcourse his range will consist more AJ,J9) I folded. Was it ok?

Why would reg cold call 3b out of position with AJ/J9, why would he donk pot with nuts?

Sry my mistake. But even then an AJs can easily be in his range because of the fish. Maybe even an AJo knowing the regs on micros. And of course a KK,QQ,TT. Why would he donk pots? Idk but there was a fish in the pot, and the flop was scary, it could be enough reason for him to play stupidly. I gave him a range of: QQ+, TT, AKs, AJs, KQs, AKo. I have 47.5% then. But if he is not doing this with Top pairs then I have only 19%. I cannot imagine bluff in his hands especially that we had a fish in the pot.

Yeah, it's true his range is strong and never air I'd say. But this play from his part makes me suspect he is himself fish or very weak reg. It's ok to donk, but this sizing drives the fish and his weak hands away, and the board is not very scary imo for strong hands when there's not even FD, only straightdraws.

His stats are: 26/21/5.3 So nothing suspicious but keep in mind there were only 60 hands about him

BB here would rather have QQ-TT than AJo...

Villain has sets and straight here. His donk looks very strong and our 2 pair might not be good here. If we call we face ugly decisions on later streets. I think folding here is ok.

Generally speaking, big donks with nuts are sometimes good because they are almost invariably misread (by regs).
