Grabbed by Holdem Manager
NL Holdem $1(BB) Replayer
SB ($257)
Hero ($109)
BTN ($105)

Dealt to Hero 4♣ 5♣

BTN raises to $2, fold, Hero calls $1

FLOP ($4.50) A♦ J♦ 4♥

Hero checks, BTN bets $3, Hero calls $3

TURN ($10.50) A♦ J♦ 4♥ 3♥

Hero checks, BTN bets $6.50, Hero folds

BTN wins $9.98

villain 42/36 (all stats from 3-handed games)
3.7 AF
84% cbet flop, 50% turn (22), 60% river (6)
50% fold cbet to raise flop (6)
400 hands

Another spot where I think a leak a lot of money. So many turn- and rivercards that sucks for our hand, and basically his entire range has decent or good equity against our hands. So would it be better to just c/r the flop here instead of calling and losing the hand a ton, in one of many ways??

It's not a flop you want to check raise much on, as raising A9 is pretty thin and AT+ is not in your range (assuming you 3bet AT+). So you can't just raise your 4x hands too often, but in moderation it's a fine play.

So flop is good.

Turn you have an easy call vs a 1/2 pot sized bet with pr+gutshot+often times best hand. I mean just run your equity vs any 2barreling range there.. you have way more than the 25% direct odds, enough to outweigh the difficult river spots you get into.

But yes playing weak hands OOP is going to be difficult. You have to deal with it though.

What if villain gives up on every turn as well? Suddenly call flop into fold turn is an awesome line.

Your line of thinking here is just not correct. Sometimes we can barreled and fold. Sometimes we get barreled and have picked up something. Sometimes he checks back. Just because we fold turn sometimes does in no way mean that we fold flop.

as u said hero's top range is AT A9, so its not that diffucult for villain to 3 barrel with air,is it? even if hero really got AT in hand, should it be a call down vs 3barrel?
