30's

I think I coulve saved 100-150usd because I was on tilt at the end. Hopefully my mindset will improve soon.
Since the 30's downswing was pretty bad, I decided to play 15's until my mindset gets better and I can shot 30's again

This really hurts (being almost 600usd below EV) but that's a thing that I can't influence. I should just concentrate on playing my best with the best possible mindset and hopefully I will crush the 30's soon

yes mainly. I can multi-table the lower stakes but am not feeling like 2-tabling at 30's

Hello, I have had a pretty flustrating run lately. I guess it's better not to concentrate on money that much, since I don't really need them. My EV is at all time high

Thanks to money from playing satellites for FPP's and few bonuses, I still have quite comfortable bankroll for 30's (50BI +). Hope I have better luck though...

Im following weekly, just keep doing what your doing and play through the variance some really good results will come. Keep the passion and mindest.

Yesterday, I played the 11usd Saturday Duel. Unfortunately ended on 66th place. Got it in with 82% equity and lost, lost one more flip and the dream of scooping 1,5K + (1-4. place) was shattered ♦

In the regular grind, i has been a fine weekend with a low volume. I'm currently at all-time high not just EV wise but also money wise. Still big gap to catch my EV ♦

Today I played my first session in december. I played basically only bad players, could've been much nicer day if I ran optimally.

Overall, the gap between green and red line is pretty close to 1K usd which is quite a bit of money for me. What can I do ♦ Hopefully once I move up higher, I will be the one getting lucky

reach gold status on Pokerstars (need to play at least 450x 30usd HU SnG)
though I shouln't make money goals, I would like to have a 1K month.
watch videos from time to time, stay focused and only concentrate on A game

December is not going well at all. My winnings are -300+usd and my EV is at +100+usd. Some things just never change ♠_mad: So sick, I got a friend who is 5K above EV, overall he has sick winnings, play 60's hypers and turbos and thinks that i don't play any worse than him. I probably do but not so much.

There is kinda a big change. I decided to try hyper turbos for some time, though I started playing just 15's. Today I had a first session and obviously I ended up almost 10BI under EV.

I still try to feel confident but being so much below EV just holds me back a little. I could already be shooting the 60's turbos

Hi, I've a couple of questions. I'm planning on playing on everest micro HUsngs - structure $1 + 0.10 (the rake is high I know, doing it to clear a bonus so I took this into account). The structure is fast - 4 min blind levels and I was wondering whether ~ 100 buyins will be enough for me to sustain any brutal downswings.

I will be 2 tabling and need to play around 1100 games in 2 months. Is this doable?

Im new to HuSnGs and will be playing basic poker until push fold stages where Im confident

I think that if you want to learn the new format, you shouln't focus on clearing a bonus but on improving which would be most beneficial for you in the future.

If I were you, I would just 1-table and learn basic things about this format. Later on, you can definitely add extra table.

If you are stubborn and still want to clear the bonus right from the start, then I think 100BI especially at this level should be more than enough. Even 50 or little less will be fine for a person who is confident that he can beat it. 1100 games in 2months/2tabling is pretty easy to accomplish as well. Good luck

Yeah I am aware that obviously I haven't got really any experience when it comes to HUSNGs but I have been interested in the past to start learning them - the bonus I have atm is a kickback bonus as well as a 50% effective RB FDB, so well worth the gamble to be honest. It was my fault, I should've researched and found out that the traffic for standard SNGs are low..

Yeah I am stubborn, the play I've seen so far has been very very poor and I am expecting to at least BE.

There's a bonus I am interested in clearing in the summer which will be easily done with HUSNGs so I might switch to that format until then. After all, my FR sng game is not that great after all...

Goals for 2012

Since I switched to Hyper-Turbos couple weeks ago, my goals are a little different now.

I'm really glad I decided to switch to HT bc it seems more profitable, there are more donks and I can put in some volume. Still I want to keep playing turbos from time to time.
I will start from easy targets to the toughest. Goals might change if FTP reopens!

get to 30s HT asap once I manage 2-tabling better. BR is big enough, still want to get little more practice. Move there till the end of this month
be a regular at 60s by the end of april
playing at least 100s by the end of the year
supernova on stars
keep studying the game, doing sweat sessions, learn from the best!
try to put in bigger volume
don't cry during swings, finish reading The Mental Game Of Poker and overall improve my mental game
don't spend so much time doing useless stuff online

PS: I'm not going to make any monetary goals. I don't really need the money that much, I just wanna focus on getting safely higher and higher

Interesting switch, the volume you can get from the hypers is nuts compared with the turbos so good decision and yea I would totally agree with there being more fishy players in the hypers goodluck with the mindest and swings im sure you will run good soon gogo ship it ♦
