Thank you poker god for running well finally :) After ending my last couple months of 2011 1,5K below EV and just running below EV overall, I finally have a month when I'm running above EV. How sweet is that? :f_love:

That has enabled me to move to 30's HT today. And I'm already up 3,8BI's there _cool: fishes are everywhere

So here is (hopefully) my final 15's HT graph (started playing just before new year)

Though as you can see, was running bad as well. But at the end is pretty nice heater and I almost caught my EV.

Unfortunately, I'm not able to play much in January since I got all final exams in this month. There is just little room to play. According to PT3, I played only 11,5h in January but made 675usd which is just amazing heater. Still should continue. _grin: I love my switch to HT, of course I'm just waiting for variance to hit me hard again...

Also in december, I decided to block my stats on p-labs and sharkscope just cuz i got too influenced by the fact that my graph was going nowhere there but my EV in my HM to the sky I feel just better that some people don't see my stats when I have a bad streak. There was actually nothing to be ashamed of and now I'm not planning on unblocking them. I think it helps my mental game as well. There is still one site that I found out about few days back where I haven't blocked it. http://www.pokeroptimizer.com/playerSearchOrig.aspx it seems like a new site (from august '11) but since people use mainly ss or p-labs, i dont really plan on blocking it there.

Soon I will hit the skyline

hey, im playing hu sngs atm as well( or at least trying to).
if i eventually want to play hypers, do you think it´s better(easier) to start with normal turbos until you reach the $15,$30 levels or start with hypers from the start at $3,5 and $7 ??

I would never start lower than at 7usd level. The quality of players is pretty poor at the 15s as well.

I think it depends mainly on you. You have to know what suits you better. I think that you can make a better hourly at the hypers + i find it easier to 2-table. Though you have to be prepared for bigger swings. I use bigger BRM now. My mindset used to be not good, therefore I stayed at turbos until i improved it. I'm pretty happy with my switch to hypers

Good luck :)

May i troll here for a second? :)
I would say, its maybe try to grind up from the lower levels in hyper turbos.
I have here a graph, its kinda mixed levels as u can see, but the interesting thing starts at cirka the 320th game, i marked it with blue. This is my graph, how i started out in the beginning, the first games were kinda pointless, just trying out the opportunities of this game, how big heater can you make and stuff, but ovb its kinda swingy, these are mostly 3,50 dollar sngs. And than from the blue point, i just played the 1,50 dollars, till cirka 300 games, no joke. As you see, the grind made the result, i could go up very nice. Of course no big opponents, but thats the nice in it, that if your game is solid, than u can grind it out nice.

I would be interested tbh if somone really grinded it up from the lowest levels, didnt saw such graph yet.

Really nice graphs and good luck with your goals!!!

Is there any articles + videos you would suggest for a SNG player (HU or 6-max)??The ones you studied and think that helped you the most...

P.S.How many tables do you play simultaneously?

thanks. Btw I agree that it is possible to grind it from lowest stakes. However the quality of play even at the 15s is pretty bad (imo), therefore I would see it as waste of time playing 1,5usd :)

I can't tell you which husng videos are good from pokerstrategy because my pokerstars account isn't tracked and my status doesn't allow me to watch them. However there is a site specifically for husng (can't post link, I believe) that has a lot of good material. The investment is worth it.

When I played turbo, I played mostly just 1-table. I find it much easier to 2-table in hypers. So I played the 15s mostly 2-tabling. Now that I moved up to 30s, I decided to play just 1 again to really concentrate on playing my best. Wanted to get to know the regulars as well etc... Will switch to 2-tabling pretty soon though

This month has been pretty sick. Even though I have final exams and can't play as much as I'd like you, I have had some serious heater EV wise

Obviously I know those results aren't obtainable. Just hope the doomswitch will wait :f_grin:

:spade: I really need to improve my 2-tabling skills. I'm just making too many errors while 2-tabling, find it hard to take notes, look up ppl's stats etc... The main goal till the end of the month is to improve my multi-tabling skills!

Pretty sick, around 50bi above ev :f_eek:

as I'm counting, it's "only" little over 30bi (50K chips - 35K = 15K/500=30BI). It wouln't even make sense 50 :) Almost half of it is from the 15s too :)

still nice to run good after I ended my last 3months of 2011 over 50BI below EV on Turbos :f_confused:

God mode in first 500games at the 30s Hyperturbos (please let it continue)

I broke already a 3K profit for this month which is highly above expectation. Yesterday I wanted to try a 36usd satellite to that 109usd HU TCOOP. Unfortunately I found out that I set myself limits for playing (probably sometimes last summer), so I wasn't able to play over 30usd BI. It takes 24h to change that, well I was just too responsible and didn't even have a chance to qualify... Today I used that 22usd TCOOP ticket to qualify to 55usd HT tourney. I unregistred to get 55 T-usd cuz I just felt like it would be much better to invest it somewhere else.

On thusday, I will finish my last exam for this semester and will have almost a month off :f_love: Then I can put in some more volume till the end of the month. Although my volume hasn't been that huge, it will be enough for a gold star on PS, which was one of my goals for january :)

Nice heater and both lines so steady :)

January has been going pretty well. All goals have been surpassed The main goal was to get used to hypers and move to 30s and settle there. I managed that easily thanks to my good run and I will probably start shooting 60s tonight.

Let me start off with a graph :)

15s, then 30s HU SnG HyperTurbo

As for the EV, I will post it in chips again. I'm actually using PT4 beta and it has even the tourney EV (called net adjusted won), but it doesn't work properly yet. Overall, I did count my being over EV worth over 1900usd, which is pretty sick. On the other hand, I ended up my last few months of 2011 about 1500usd below EV on Turbos HU. So here is this month's chip EV

Even though, I played only 22 out of last 30days on the 30usd level, I got pretty nice spot on the leaderboard, my fav number

My BR actually grew today by couple more hundreds + I played some Sunday Storms satellites and got about 110usd, so I got comfortable BR to start shooting 60s. It's at about 7,1k+. If it gets lower than 6,5k, I will go back to 30s to rebuild. It's kinda nitty but whatever. That's how I wanna do it

Goals for february
:diamond: get to 60s HT HU
:diamond: stay in profit even while shooting higher. 2k+ would be nice
:diamond: keep working on my game: do sweat sessions, videos, watch videos
:diamond: maintain gold on stars, platinum would be nice but I'm not sure about my volume since I will spend a lot of time skiing/snowboarding in february
:diamond: finish reading the Mental Game Of Poker and keep improving my mindset

GL to all :f_cool:

pokeroptimizer.com :) it actually tracks 100% of games for the last few months which is kinda suprising. I'm talking about stars tracking, not sure about other sites...
