lol. als sie benza rausgenommen habe, fand ich die sendung schon deutlich schwächer. ohne gabe ist sie absolut nicht sehenswert imo. ich meine, nichtmal durrrr spielt noch mit. da kann ich ja gleich die irish poker open auf dem poker channel gucken.

Na ja, durrrr muss ja auch nicht überall dabei sein.
Klar macht es Spaß ihm zuzuschauen, aber muss er wirklich überall dabei sein???
Außerdem wurde HSP ja auch in den Staffeln 1-4 geschaut, als er noch nicht dabei war.
Viel schlimmer ist doch, dass Gabe auch noch gehen musste (weswegen eigentlich?)

HSP is tot 
Die einzigen die diese Sendung retten könnten wären Tony G und Sammy Farha... Tony G weil er unbedingt weiter gegen Robl haten muss und Sammy wegen Sammy einfach
ich fand das komplette ambiente in staffel 1-4 einfach ultra geil... diese wohnzimmer atmosphäre ;-)
Dazu noch farha... die monströsen chip- & bargeldstapel.... einfach nice
ab staffel 5 sahs für mein einfach aus wie PAD etc...
ohne AJ war für mich schon der erste schritt in die falsche richtung.... keine FT'ler...jetzt auch noch gabe nicht dabei.... naja die sendung hat ihren besonderen flair verloren
.... ich werds mir aber trotzdem anschaun ;-)

War u.a. bei SNL und ist begeisterter Pokerspieler, allerdings wird er wohl im Bereich Pokeranlyse seine Schwaechen haben.
Ob er, aehnlich wie Stapes, seine Poker-Police dazu bekommt, steht imo noch nicht fest.

Norm Macdonald begins his first season as host of HIGH STAKES POKER, following longtime host Gabe Kaplan. Macdonald boasts a long career in comedy—and a serious reputation as a poker player. Krass was ich hier für ne andere Meinung hab als einige.
Gabes Witze waren ziemlich witzig und er konnte AJ Benza gut als Bouncing Ball dafür nehmen. Das war aber auch alles wofür AJ Benza gut war. Er hat zu wenig social skills, ist nicht witzig und hat zu wenig Ahnung von Poker. Gabe dagegen ist unterhaltsam und witzig. Das einzige mal dass ich ihn unwitzig fand, war, als er bei NBC Heads Up 10 mal den gleichen Witz erzählt hat (das er more handsome als Antonius ist).
Andrew Robl guck ich lieber zu als Negreanu dem alten Laberzwerg. Für Robl geht es wenigstens noch was. Negreanu will auf Teufel komm raus unterhalten und das wirkt bei ihm einfach erzwungen und over the top. Robl hat mit dem harassment bei The Big Game souverän gedealt. Sein Statement in seinem Blog nach der Show war auch das einzig überzeugende. Tony G war da out of line, aber man erwartete es ja von ihm. Negreanu war charakterlos und gay und eine Schande für seine Rolle als Pokerbotschafter.
