My favorite video is not just 1, but a series from Gordon Gekko: Champions Stand Up One More Time Than the Rest

It opened my eyes on many aspects of the game, helped with motivation, and established my will to eventually transfer to heads-up once I reach a decent enough bankroll.

A must-see for everyone.

P.S. I finished the 10 hands thing as well, I should be done with this challenge.

Hey guys, please note that the rules have slightly changed!

1. Posting in the open discussion forums - we aim at getting 5 threads with your own hands and 5 contributions to other users' hands/discussions.

2. Instead of commenting on the video, simply tell us in this thread which video you enjoyed the most and why!

Therefore, KKNgroup, SeagalSteven, AtrociousNightmare - can I kindly ask you to edit your post and let us know about your fave video?

Thanks in advance and sorry for this late change! :)

My favorite video: Volume and variance by BogdanPS

This video is a must for everyone who plays poker! it clearly explains variance and how volume in the long run beats it.

I've also completed the challenge! _love:

My favorite video is:

http://www.pokerstrategy.com/video/34189/

"Nutrition and Poker - What to eat before and during sessions?"

It has some very good tips on how to increase your winrate without working on your game! I used to drink Cola very often before and during sessions, but the video gave me the scientifical motivation to drop this unhealthy habit and stop using poker as an excuse to drink it.

Hey SeagalSteven,

The PLO board is perfectly acceptable. :)

Cheers

My favourite video is Bogdan's video on variance (part 1). Really opened my eyes regarding long term perspective, volume and importance of short-term unluck. Unfortunately, I do not remember the video's name that was linked once to Bogdan's video. It was something about the negative feedback in poker. A short, 5-minute-long video but it had such a profound impact on my poker reasoning. That helped me switching from "I want to win this pot" to "I am doing this move correctly, fromt he long term perspective?"

Mission accomplished!
