Sunday HORSE Race
What an incredible, outstanding mess this was... 
Early 2nd bullets for both of us. Terrible runouts for both of us. Our re-entries busted out just seconds away from each other. Prim was the one who finished two places above me, despite our almost simultaneous bust-outs. That makes her the winner of the challenge, but really, it was just pure crap for both trolls tonight.
I wish we could have ended our poker challenges this year on a better note, but that's all we have to offer. Maybe we can think of something else to do until the new year, but I think we're going to take it slow. I will tally up the scores so far in the next few days, I'm pretty sure Prim won overall, at least when it comes to poker, but we shall see.

As the Trolls are tallying up the scores for this year, let me officially announced that I have failed my "Pirate's Quest" Advent Challenge, which required me to successfully purchase a pirate-themed Lego ship until Christmas. Honestly, I stopped looking after just about a week, there were just too many other things on my mind. 
Still, a challenge is a challenge. Maybe next year...

Hopefully, you're not going to get trolled by Santa, like us here. Prim got a sunflower and some Maggi mixes. Harrier got Last Christmas on CD, a bottle of ketchup, a Paleo cookbook and an appropriate Hold'em book for his skill level. Nsavov got the acclaimed Mindblowing Poker book and a special grinding offer from iPoker. And our adorable Baby Peach got a voucher for skydiving lessons, a lifesaver and a some go-kart maintenance tools.
But of course, the real trolls wish that you guys got exactly what you wanted this year.

The Trolls have thoroughly enjoyed their break, and while it will take some more time until we square off at the poker tables again, we already have some ideas for additional Troll Challenges this year. One of them I would like to announce right now:
Can You Bake It?
While Primrose will embark on a quest to find the perfect gluten-free bread, possibly announcing her own kind of challenge about it too, baking donk Harrier has decided that it's time for him to finally get something together as well.
My previous attempts at it have usually resulted in ignominious failure, mostly because I started right away with more advanced stuff like thin tortillas. But whatever I tried, I could never get the dough right, especially the amount of water was always way off one way or another, despite following several different recipes to the letter.
This shall be about to change, possibly with the help of Prim too. Until the end of the year, I need to bake the following things to rise through the baking ranks:
Level 1 - Apprentice
Bake any kind of bread.
Level 2 - Loafer
Bake a good burger bun.
Level 3 - Advanced Loafer
Bake long burger buns and slider buns.
Level 4 - Professional Loafer
Bake gluten-free burger buns that don't taste like crap.
Level 5 - Expert
Make flatbread.
Level 6 - Maestro Panadero
Make tortillas.
Getting those things right would be quite an accomplishment for me, because I always thought I was hopeless at them. And maybe I am, but let's see. We should have plenty of time, at least.
The perfect pseudo-bread
This is my challenge. As our regular readers know, I follow the Paleo diet - and bread is taboo! But you can help yourself: There are different ways to fake bread so you can make a nice sandwich for example. Baked fake-bread a couple of times, it was good, but the problem was that it turned hard and inedible after only one, maximum two days. Used different kinds of "flour" like coconut-flour, potatoe-flour, rice-flour....whatever. Nothing worked yet.
My challenge for this year will be: Bake the perfect pseudo-bread!

New year, new challenges and a new "troll family member"
We´re not exactly sure yet, what we are going to do, which MTTs or SnGs we will play.... to be announced soon.
And I have another announcement: Harrier and I will soon get a new member of our "imaginary troll family". Baby Peach will get a new little sibling!!

Indeed, there have been neither bread nor circuses yet when it comes to Troll Challenges this year. There will probably be some bread next week, when I may make some first attempts at my baking challenge, and as for circuses, or games at least, we might start this weekend already with some poker.
We are not yet sure what we're going to play, and how many of the challenges from last year will be continued, but after getting most of our personal stuff in order, we should be all set for the most part now.
